Native American Cigarettes - All of the cogarettes and tobacco products sold by the Black Hawk Tobacco Shop are Native American made. The Black Hawk Tobacco Shop is Native American owned and operated, is located on Native American Sovereign territory and sells Native American made cigarettes and tobacco products exclusively. We do not sell taxable commercial cigarettes.
We provide this as a service to our "brick and mortar" store customers, many of whom reside outside of Palm Springs during the hot, summer months. As allowed by law, these customers are of both Native American and Non-Native American descent. We abide by all the taxation laws of both the United States Federal government and the Agua Caliente Sovereign Nation.

Most everyone has
heard horror stories of identity theft. The thought
of two guys in Pakistan getting your credit card
number and buying a Hummer with it is a horrible,
especially when you wish you could have one yourself.
Though credit card companies are fairly good at
spotting unusual spending behaviors, they are not
perfect and it is better just to avoid such scenarios.
As our long time customers know, we used to have
a strict policy of never taking a credit card number
on-line. All cigarette payment information had to
be confirmed over the telephone. That was obviously
an inconvenience to them and a massive undertaking
for us.
By the request of our customers, we started taking
credit card numbers on-line At the beginning of
this year, we installed a 128 bit encryption SSL
certificate. 128 bit SSL encryption is, at the moment,
the industry standard. It is safe from almost everyone,
except those who really want to know you are buying
and have the resources to do it; namely, the government.
Since this is America, we have something against
people and agencies intruding upon our privacy and
watching us without our knowledge. Let countries
like North Korea do that. Here we believe in freedom.
Here we believe that privacy is valuable.
To ensure that all of our customers have the privacy
that they deserve as American citizens, the Black
Hawk Tobacco Shop has opened a business account
at CryptoHeaven.com.
CryptoHeaven uses 256 bit encryption, which at the
present levels of technology, can not be hacked,
cracked or spied upon. Even CryptoHeaven itself
does not have the passwords to access our account.
There is no password recovery possible. If we lose
our password, the account can not be opened by anyone.
Why do I need 256
encryption to order cigarettes on-line?
This question is best answered by taking a paragraph
directly out of the FAQ page at CryptoHeaven:
" have sent hundreds of e-mail messages.
Why do I need to encrypt them now?
Many people who use traditional e-mail systems assume
the e-mail they send is private. This is simply
not the case. A message sent by a user travels in
plain text (i.e.. easily readable) from the originating
computer to a mail server. It is stored on a server
as text and subsequently forwarded from one mail
server to another until it reaches the destination.
Messages are stored on the servers for days, sometimes
weeks and months. Most servers do daily backups,
storing your messages on tapes for even longer periods

Ordering Cigarettes with WebTV
(It has recently been pointed out to us that if you
are using WebTV, ordering cigarettes
from the Black Hawk Tobacco Shop is rather difficult.
In order to help our customers who use this format,
we have set up an extra order form for you. Unlike
our frequent and new customer order forms, however,
the WebTV order form is not using
SSL encryption.
Due to the help of one of our customers, thanks
Dane, we were able to generate a form that works
well on WebTV. Like everything
here at our site, we are always trying to improve
our service. If there are any WebTV

Cigarettes, Child Labor and You |

What are
Bidi Cigarettes?
The cigarettes are called Bidis. The are
often sold in health food stores, look like joints
and are available with such names as strawberry
bidis, cherry bidis, vanilla bidis and even bubble
gum bidis. In recent years, they have become very
popular among the youth and those curious about
new trends.
Bidi cigarettes are hand-rolled by women and children
in the country of India, claim to be All Natural
and sell over a trillion individual cigarettes a
year. There is no organization checking on the cleanliness
of the production method nor the age or health condition
of the workers. This would in itself be a difficult
task. Most bidi cigarettes are rolled in private
homes.
The Black Hawk Tobacco Shop does not Sell Bidi Cigarettes
Though we are often asked, we do not sell Bidi cigarettes.
Besides the fact that Bidi cigarettes are not Native
American made (though they are made by Indians)
and that we can not confirm the All Natural claim,
we don not sell the Indian cigarettes because of
a moral issue.
Bidi cigarettes are made by child labor, in fact,
enslaved child labor. Or to be more blunt, Bidi
cigarettes and those who smoke and sell them exploit
children as young as 5 years old.
The
Direct Responsibility
Anybody who smokes a bidi cigarette is
directly responsible for the enslavement of thousands
of Indian children, many as young as 5 and 6 years
old. These children do not roll a few dozen bidi
cigarettes after school. They work 10 hour days
producing 500 to 1,000 bidi cigarettes by hand,
with varying degrees of cleanliness, in tobacco,
dust-filled rooms.
These children are paid on average 80 cents per
day when they do get paid. Often, the workers are
bonded labor (which means basically slave labor
with prettier, obscurer words).
Many of these children have been sold to money lenders
by their parents. Some for as little as $25. The
money lenders then use these children to produce
the cool, hip bidi cigarettes for Western Markets
at an incredible profit.
To sum it up, bidi cigarettes hurt the children
making them. They are sold to Western countries
at great profit. As a moral society, we should not
participate in what are obviously unacceptable practices.
Children should be in school, not in bidi factory
breathing tobacco dust.
Bidis Cigarettes
-vs- Flavored Cigarettes
I am not going to go into a big sales pitch
now, except to say that if you like flavored tobacco,
there are alternatives. Shermans and Camel make
flavored cigarettes along with several other companies.
We obviously do not sell these, but they are a better
alternative to bidi cigarettes.
Visions Luxury cigarettes are made in the USA. Nobody
is hand rolling them. Child labor is not used. Slave
labor is not used. They are premium cigarettes.
The tobacco is outstanding. They look great when
you go out and taste even better. And if you are
an adult, you can smoke as many as you want without
having a dirty conscious. And, of course, we sell
these.

cigarettes is in abundance on the Internet. Don't
take our word, look it up yourself. Use any search
engine and the search terms, "bidi cigarettes"
and "child labor" and you will get days
worth of reading material concerning the popular
Indian made cigarette and the children who make
those cigarettes. We have provided a few if you
don't have the time to wade through the material
yourself.

is a collect of tips on how to almost anything that
you can think of, almost. Organized in categories
like health, careers, hobbies and games, a user
can easily navigate to pages of helpful tips and
good advice.
What is really fun about eHow.com is its sister
site www.WikiHow.com.
WikiHow.com is a collect of tips read, edited and
reedited by the users that visit the pages. Anyone
can edit any page and publish instantly to the Internet.
If there isn't a category that interests you, you
can write your own.
That's what I did. It bothered me that the only
topics about cigarettes were those about what an
bad habit it is. That's typical politically correct
thinking. To test out WikiHow.com's stance on freedom
of speech, I wrote an article on cigarettes with
a slant:
How
to Quit Quiting Smoking.
Unfortunately, I didn't get to add a by-line. I
published before I registered and logged in. Feel
free to stop buy and add some of your own helpful
hints, tips and comments. You might as well, before
all the non-smokers manipulate it.
To save you the trouble of going there now, I have
included the article here for your convenience:
How to Quit Trying to
Quit Smoking
Every smoker has tried quit at least once.
Sometimes the reasons are monetary, sometimes for
health, sometimes for the spouse and sometimes unknown.
The end result is usually the same. You quit for
a few days and then start again. Why put yourself
through that torment. If you really want to quit,
then do it. If not, then please just quit quiting.
Steps
1. Ask yourself the one important question,
"Do I really want to quit?" If you really want to,
then do it. People who wanted to quit, do so everyday.
If you don't, then stop quiting. You won't be able
to quit if you don't really want to, so why torment
yourself with failure.
2. Stop listening to all the guilt trips of the
non-smokers. They are not better than you. We
all have addictions. Some of them eat too much.
Some of them are mean to their pets. Some of them
drink too much. A lot of them have weird sexual
fetishes. Who is to judge who, when we all are
flawed? Stop listening and stop feeling guilty.
3. Realize why you smoke. You smoke because you
like the kick. Okay, that's the truth. You are
not smoking for any other reason. Say to yourself,
I like to smoke and accept it. If that isn't true,
go back to step 1. If it is, then quit quiting.
4. Buy Native American Tobacco. It will save you
money and you won't feel as bad about smoking.
All those cigarette taxes are just sin taxes.
Why pay them? It is nobody's business if you smoke.
Stop paying them. Buy Native American cigarettes
and you won't have to try to quit because of the
money. If you are trying to quit because cigarettes
cost too much, see step 1. That isn't a good reason.
You won't be able to quit because you don't really
want to quit. Thus, quit quiting.
Tips
- If you want to quit feeling guilty, smoke
Native American Cigarettes. You will feel a
lot better about yourself. Once the guilt is
gone, you won't feel like being obligated to
do what you don't really want to do. If you
really want to quit, you know. Then do it. If
you don't want to quit really, you know that
too. If that is the case, just quit quiting.
